Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
Apologies for the fact that last week’s intro abruptly ended mid-sentence 😵💫:
I wrote it out on my notes app on a flight and I thought I’d finished it off so I simply copied and pasted it into Substack when I had wifi again after I’d landed. Evidently I got distracted mid-sentence and it wasn’t the coherent intro I thought I’d nailed 🥲 — and if that isn’t a metaphor for how everyone in cycling feels at this time of year then idk what is.
Of course, there are still plenty of motivated people out there including those who are going after world champs in Zurich starting this weekend! Who’s going to take the ITT title on Sunday?
Can’t wait to find out!
Aaaaand before I go I want to wish a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to WCW’s very own Lulah, without whom the cogs of this chaotic newsletter would cease to turn! 🎈🎂🥳
Enjoy,
Amy x

Daria Pikulik at it again at the Euros! Surely that's her biggest result yet? The Polish team is looking quite strong for Worlds.
