Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will be riding for an INEOS-backed mountain bike team in 2023, according to reports in VeloNews and Cycling Weekly.
…and it’s no wonder INEOS want Ferrand-Prévot who will be chasing a FOURTH (!!!) world title in a matter of months at the Gravel World Championships this weekend, after taking rainbow in XCO, XCC and marathon already this year.
The UCI are ushering in a whole host of new rules for women’s cycling from next month, including bigger rosters, development teams, and allowing teams to draft in cover for riders who go on maternity leave.
Local papers are reporting that the 2023 Tour de France Femmes will start in Clermont-Ferrand, moving away from a Paris start and then heading towards the Pyrénées.
Plantur-Pura have confirmed they have applied for WorldTour status in 2023, joining Ceratizit-WNT and AG Insurance-NXTG as the teams hoping to secure the last remaining licence.
Despite failing to provide the required live coverage in 2022, the RideLondon Classique has not been demoted from the WorldTour for 2023 after providing sufficient evidence of plans to show the race live next year.
Magnus Bäckstedt has joined Canyon//SRAM as their lead sports director.
Norwegian Emilie Moberg announced her retirement from professional cycling after nearly 13 years in the peloton.

The latest in UAE Team ADQ’s LONG list of transfers, Alena Amialiusik will be racing in their colours in 2023 after eight seasons at Canyon//SRAM.
Olivia Baril also joins UAE Team ADQ, now the fourth Valcar rider to make that move.
Roland Cogeas Edelweiss have signed Swedish rider Nathalie Eklund.

the first episode of the Netflix series Human Playground explores the limits of pain barriers and features Ellen van Dijk’s experience at the first Paris Roubaix Femmes. Although the episode centres around pushing through pain, Ellen did have a word of caution after the series came out:
