Hello! Welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
I hope everyone’s had a lovely week! I’m in the UK and it’s 4pm and it’s already going dark wth?????
In case you missed Wednesday’s paid subscriber-only content, in it we introduced this week’s podcast guest, El Jaskowska. El is the founder of School of Rocks, a fun, women-led initiative that aims to make off-road riding more accessible. Click here to listen! And if you don’t want to miss out on any of our subscriber-only content then you can sign up here:
Anyway, although we said last week that we might take the newsy back to an every-other-week kinda thing for a bit what we didn’t think about was that there’s only this week left and then next week is the TWO YEAR anniversary of WCW!!!!
So seeing as next week is party time for WCW 🎈we thought we’d do something a lil different and ask you, the lovely subscribers, to ask us ANYTHING you like for a special edition!
So, if you have a q for us then either reply to this email or leave a comment!
If you don’t have any burning questions for us or you can’t think of anything at all (seriously, it can be Tilda’s fav ice cream flavour, legit anything) then don’t worry because we’ll be bringing some other ✨special content✨ for you.
Until then,
Amy x

Amy and Tilda x
I'm late to the party, but I do have a question- what do you all see as the areas where women's cycling journalism has the most room to improve? What would that look like? And when will Amy truly get to dive into long-form writing and Tilda into a serial-style podcast? WCW dominance is on the horizon. Or perhaps it's already here!
Off topic but current events, I am thinking of you both in light of the CT layoffs of key staff and the numerous expressions of hurt and disappointment. I just want to express our support for the cycling journalism you provide at WCW, CT, etc.
Is canceling CT membership a good demonstration of support or a childish tantrum that only hurts those that remain? I threw my bottle out of the crib, but now I want it back :(
