Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
Paid subscribers will have heard this already but there are a few changes afoot at WCW Towers™. The bad news first (which you might already know): Tilda is leaving 😢💔. From ‘intern’ to integral part of this whole shebang WCW won’t be the same without her input but she’s gone and got herself a ‘real’ job which means she can’t be such a big part of it anymore (she will always have a place here, though!).
Elsewhere, I’ve made some changes that mean I *should* have more time to give to this here newsletter to hopefully make up for some of the loss of Tilda but also bring a renewed enthusiasm that I’ve been lacking lately since I’ve been busy with other bits and bobs. If you want to be in the loop of all the goings on and get bonus WCW content (watch this space for TDFF) then make sure to become a paid subscriber!
For now, I’ll hand over the rest of this intro to the one and only, Tilda Price (alias: Hilda)

A note from Tilda
Hello lovely subscribers!
As Amy's already explained, it's a sad interjection from me this week, because I've gone and got a new job which means I won't be doing WCW anymore 😭💔 We've been putting off telling you guys, basically because we were both hoping the situation would be different, and honestly it's just sad! I don't want to say goodbye, but at the same time I don't want to disappear without doing it.
Working on WCW with Amy has really been the biggest pleasure of my last two years. From a baby intern right as I finished uni, to turning this into our project and a growing platform, and not the mention the doors it's opened along the way, it's been such a fun journey. I feel such pride about what we've created, especially expanding in the last year, and building such a lovely community of women's cycling fans.
I'm so proud of what we've done with the newsy, but also so grateful for everything else that's come from this: a wonderful friend who's always there for a hug in the press room, a companion at mountain bike races, a chat/therapy session about basically anything in life. I'm sure you guys already know, but this partnership has become way more than work, which makes leaving even harder.
I was the biggest fan of WCW when it started (even if Amy didn't follow me back for months...) and as much as I'm sad to be leaving, I am very happy to be reclaiming my number 1 fan title and getting to read the best newsletter in the world again. I'll miss you guys so much but I can't wait to see where WCW goes next 💜
