From one world champs to another
+ The Cyclists' Alliance has a new president
Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
What a race we were treated to last weekend! I did not envy the peloton racing in those wet and cold conditions, nor having to keep pace with so many attacks. Speaking of attacks, there were definitely some strange tactics going on in the Dutch camp which ultimately saw them lose out on a medal (but they did come away with the U23 title courtesy of Puck!)
From one world champs to another: the gravel world title will be crowned this weekend, and the start list is pretty stacked (including the aforementioned U23 world champ).
Meanwhile, the transfers keep rolling in and Grace Brown has a new role in the sport after bowing out from racing with a gold medal and ITT world title in hand.
