Anna van der Breggen was forced to retire from Amstel Gold Race due to illness which also kept her off the start line of Flèche Wallonne (of which she is a seven-time winner, nbd). TBD on whether she will race Liège at the weekend.
Marianne Vos got us all scared after her team teased that a big announcement was due last Saturday but thankfully instead of a retirement it was, well, the opposite: she has signed an indefinite contract with Visma | Lease a Bike.
