Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly: Your weekly round-up of all things news, content, racing, and more from the world of women’s cycling.
Hellooooo! It’s been a quiet week content-wise thanks to some big men’s race that’s going on over in Italy taking up all the attention of the cycling media but there’s been plenty going on in the world of women’s racing still. The Spanish block gave us a taster of what might be to come as the Giro and TDFF edge ever-closer while on the MTB there was some tense competition over in Czechia. The summer is shaping up very nicely.
On that note, it’s time for a bit of an announcement. While WCW is, in many ways, my first baby, I’m expecting my actual first baby next month. Now, I struggle to remember when it’s Friday at the best of times so I don’t imagine that will improve with the arrival of a newborn. However I really didn’t want the newsletter to have to stop while I focus on keeping a tiny human alive which is why it’s extremely lucky that the wonderful Tallulah (with whom many of you might already be familiar!) agreed to take the reins from next week for a while. I’m happy to take a step back knowing that I’m leaving WCW in her more than capable (honestly, she’ll probably do a better job than me you won’t want me to come back) hands. So all that leaves me to say is: thanks so much for continuing to subscribe and I’ll see you on the other side!
Enjoy WCW’s Lulah era!
