Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly: Your weekly round-up of all things news, content, racing, and more from the world of women’s cycling.

Hey, sports fans! Little peek behind the curtain for you - I’m writing this on Thursday night as when this gets sent out I will be on a flight to Switzerland to watch Wales compete in the Euros! Super exciting! So I hope you will excuse some missing results and hopefully some great content coming out on Friday. I’ll make it’s all in next weeks issue! While I’m sure the football will be incredible, I am slightly gutted to be missing out on so much racing this weekend. I’ve heard some mumblings about something in France but the real excitement is all in Italy. I know my fellow downhill heads will be hyped to be watching a new track at La Thuile. The main descriptions I’m hearing are steep and wild so I think it’ll be an exciting one. And of course, the Giro d’Italia is finally (almost) here! I think we’re all going to be in for an excellent week of racing.
