Hello! Welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
I hope everyone has had a fab week! I’ve been ill with a cold 🤧 and therefore haven’t been up to much which may go some way towards explaining my newfound obsession with the track cycling world championships which started on Wednesday. Although my short attention span and BRF may also explain it, as I wrote about today. It’s short and exciting and I can’t get enough.
Given there’s no more WWT racing happening there’s still LOADS of content this week so I’ll keep this short and sweet and let you get stuck in!

Also there’s just one more week to enter the competition to get yourself a FREE signed copy of Cat by Freya North. To find out how listen to the first episode of our new podcast here.
AND if you’ve been enjoying it we would love ❤️ if you could rate and review the pod on your platform of choice we will love you foreverrr (more than we do already seeing as you subscribe to WCW!)

Finally a slightly quieter week for transfers?
The biggest movers recently have been Roland Cogeas Edelweiss, who have bolstered their team with a host of signings including Lara Vieceli, Mia Griffin and Sofia Collinelli.
In heartwarming news at track worlds, Mieke Kröger and Franziska Brauße gave new handlebars to the Nigerian team pursuit team, who had previously been racing on mass-start bars.

Rivals, but make it cute
Mum’s smashing it on the UK cross and road circuits! Unlike Lorena Wiebes’ in Paris, these kids actually belong to these women. We love to see it.
That’s all 👋

Very nice interview with Betsy. I think this kind of content is what helps WCW stand out as different than Freewheeling, which was your intent of course. So, success and chapeau!
