Hello lovely subscribers! โจ
How are we all? I (Tilda) am back in dark, cold England and definitely missing the warmer climes of Spain, but ALSO getting excited for Christmas - all the lights and decorations are starting to go up and itโs all looking very cute.
As we get to towards the end of the year, and the depths of the off-season, thereโs even less racing chat for us to dig into in this newsletter, but never fear, we have some things up our sleeve ๐ And today is the first of those in the form of a Q&A with Aussie pro Brodie Chapman!
About to start her sixth year in the European pro peloton, Brodie has spent the last few years on FDJ-SUEZ-Futuroscope but is off to Trek-Segafredo in the new year. Sheโs a super strong rider and one of the most valued domestiques in the peloton, but also a very cool person, so we wanted to ask her some Qโs - a mixture of bike-related ones and also some more light-hearted ones (who doesnโt want to know a pro cyclistโs dream dinner?). I think youโll enjoy her answers, especially the playlist of her life! ๐ถ
We have some more Q&As lined up over the next few weeks/months too, so look out for them, and as always if you have a great idea for a question or someone to pose them to, drop us a comment!
But for now, itโs over to Brodie! ๐ฆ
Q: If you had to pick a vintage season in womenโs cycling, what year would it be? ๐
Whatever year women were banned from riding bikes, so I could be one of those women wearing trousers and riding them anyway and pioneering a path forward.
