Hello lovely subscribers! ✨

SO sorry that this is coming to you a lot later than usual this week! Substack was doing maintenance at the EXACT time I went to press publish. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

This is the penultimate Q&A of 2022 and it’s a goodie: the one and only Ellen van Dijk!Β

A fixture at the front of the peloton, closing down breaks, stringing the bunch out, or in her natural habitat on a TT bike. She’s already world Hour Record holder and three-time world time trial champion, but what else would the 35-year-old like to add to her palmares? Find out below!Β

P.s keep your eyes out for next week’s Q&A answers from none other than Annemiek van Vleuten!

More Q&As are coming up from some exciting riders but we’ll be reaching out to more in the new year, so if you have a great idea for a question or someone to pose them to, drop us a comment!

Over to Ellen!

Q: If you could soundtrack your career (/life) what songs would be on it? 🎢

My favourite songs which are connected to good memories: Unstoppable- Sia (Worlds ’21)- Na

tural-Imagine Dragons (World hour record)- Fire on up- Paper Kings (Worlds ’22).

Q: If you had to pick a vintage season in women’s cycling, what year would it be? πŸ“†

Β In 1984 the first Women’s Tour de France was held. My boyfriend made a podcast about it. I loved to hear about it.
