Hello! Welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴‍♀️

Happy new year! And welcome to the first full issue of Women’s Cycling Weekly for 2023 🤯.

I hope you’ve all had a lovely few weeks. It already feels like ages since Christmas and new year and, I don’t know about you guys, but Tilda and I are more than ready for a fresh start and a whole new season to look forward to!

If you’re a paid subscriber (love ya) then you will have already seen our swanky new-look logo designed by the wonderful Abi Van Twisk — we hope you love it as much as we do!!

I’ve been obsessed with the cross racing over the festive period and can’t wait for what the final few weeks of the season will bring but — guys — we blinked and road racing is already back?? The WWT kicks off NEXT WEEK already with TDU and although (as Tilda wrote on Wednesday) it’s perhaps not quite the start to the season we hoped for with only a handful of WWT teams rocking up, we’re still v excited for racing to return.

1. STORY TIME: As I was rolling out my driveway this morning, I looked to the right and saw a cyclist standing on the corner of my street. This was slightly odd given that there aren’t many cyclists in the area, nor is my street a common route choice.
