So many medals
+ getting ready for Rwanda
Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly: Your weekly round-up of all things news, content, racing, and more from the world of women’s cycling.
Hello guys, we are somehow still in the middle of a world championship. And next weekend we’ll be starting a whole new round of them. It may never end. I don’t care that September is the same every year, it will always take me by surpise. Okay okay but really I am excited. I’ve been sat here trying to come up with an interesting way to talk about how good worlds is, but there’s not really anything new to say, we all know why it’s good - anything can happen. Even if the winner ends up being the most obvious pick, it’s the sheer possibility of something wild happening that makes the whole thing so magic. I suppose this is technically true for all races, anyone could win on any day, but it never feels quite so real to me as when there are rainbow bands on the line.
