Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
Sorry for the lack of intro today, I’m on holiday for my 30th (!!) birthday so keeping it short and sweet today to say that I hope everyone enjoyed the fabulously unexpected Ardennes week we just had and is ready for stage race season to start on Sunday with La Vuelta Femenina! I’ll be back to natter on a bit more in next Friday’s intro about all of that or, if you’re a paid subscriber (ILY 💘), for some bonus La Vuelta bits and bobs during the week.
Until then, enjoy this week’s issue and have a lovely week — see you soon!

Happy Birthday!
Sad to see Val Di Sol and NA races off the cyclocross calendar.
I’m very excited for the Vuelta, not least because I’m going to two stages!! Looks like Anna Kiesenhofer will be there, which is great for the race and also for me as a fan of mathematicians.
Also, no Kopecky at the TDFF is sad, but hopefully that will mean all their resources are put toward Vollering. I hope we get to see her step up to the plate for stage racing season.
