Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
I’m still buzzing from the Giro and the super close GC race between Elisa Longo Borghini and Lotte Kopecky. Sport loves a rivalry and the Giro definitely sparked a new one within the peloton, and with the Olympics just around the corner we don’t have to wait long to see it in action again.
Which is crazy because HOW is it possible that the Olympics starts NEXT WEEK already? Which also means that the Tour is just around the corner too 👀.
Who’s excited?
Meanwhile, enjoy this week’s newsletter and have a great weekend!

I’ll be cheering for Samaria Maxwell at least as loud as Evie Richards - sounds like the NZ selection committee need to move into the 21st century.
