I was going to write: “tomorrow, a new world champion will be crowned” but that statement could prove incorrect if Lotte Kopecky manages to back up her 2023 title in Glasgow. It’s looking good for the Belgian but she’s got stiff competition in the form of teammate/mortal enemy Demi Vollering and Tour de France Femmes champion Kasia Niewiadoma to name a few. The field is stacked, the course is…alright, and the race is going to be all on.
