The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will return to the Colorado city of Durango, commemorating 40 years since the inaugural event was held there in 1990.
Justine Ghekiere has been forced to pull out of participating in the World Championships as she is still recovering from the injuries she sustained from a high-speed crash Grand Prix Stuttgart & Region race. Her withdrawal means that the Belgian women’s team are now down to just four riders after Lotte Kopecky also withdrew.
