Women's Cycling Weekly issue 45
A weekly curation of women's cycling news and content straight to your inbox
Hello! Welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly issue 45 🚴♀️
My week has been spent fielding criticism from men about this article and this follow-up piece. If you want to give up on the human race then read the comments below both of them. I could go into a detailed rant about it all here but there’s no point, because WCW readers are not the target audience for that, and I have a cold so I have even less energy to spend on those people than usual.
The antidote to all that was the announcement of the Tour de France Femmes route which was actually much better than I (and most people?) had given ASO credit for in predicting how it might look. If you care about my extended thoughts on that (pls care — make me relevant) then you can read them here. TL;DR is: whatever you think of the route, it’s just bloody exciting that there’s going to be a TDFF and this is a seismic moment for the women’s side of the sport.
Right, enough waffle from me — let’s crack on.
As usual, shout out to my girl Tilda for putting together most of the below info x
