News 📰
Two riders’ unions, CPA Women and The Cyclists’ Alliance, have clashed over the new prize money management system. TCA outlined their questions about the system, which led the CPA to accuse them of ‘fake news’ and the threat of legal action.
More on the two unions here.
Former junior time trial world champion Aigul Gareeva has been provisionally suspended after missing three anti-doping tests, and could face a two-year ban.
ASO have announced which teams will be riding Paris-Roubaix and Liege-Bastogne-Liege this spring (and created a new women’s ProTeam category, it seems).
The Mont Ventoux Denivelé Challenge, a one-day race finishing atop Mont Ventoux, will host a women’s race in 2022.
