Hello lovely readers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
I’m writing this from the airport as I wait for my flight up to Belgium! I’m sad to be leaving the Girona sun behind for a week but I’m not complaining AT ALL about the fact that I’ll be at the Tour of Flanders, baby!! (And Roubaix, but that’s next week). This will be my first time at De Ronde so I’m super excited to soak up the atmosphere and see the carnage up close.
The big question is: will we be watching yet another SD Worx rider cross the line on her own on Sunday afternoon? (guys I’m obsessed with polls now x)
AND seeing as I’ll be there and I loved bringing you guys some 💘subscriber only💘 content from UAE Tour I’m gonna try and do the same this weekend! Let me know in the comments what you’d like to read/see/hear and I’ll see what I can do 🧙♀️ and don’t forget to become a paid subscriber if you want this ✨exclusive✨ content in your inbox!
Enjoy this week’s edish!

News 📰
The organisers of the Women’s Tour have announced that this year’s event has been postponed, owing to a big gap between their funding and the cost of running the event.
Following the crash-heavy Gent-Wevelgem, Brodie Chapman is out injured with a broken sacrum.
RideLondon Classique have announced which teams will be lining up in Essex in May. 10 WorldTour teams are on the startlist, not including SD Worx (so no Wiebes sprint whitewash this year).
Idk where else to put THIS debacle:
But I’m so here for Ceratizit-WNT giving HLN shit for it:

I don’t know what to put for the poll! Does it count as winning from a group if the group is just Kopecky vs. Vollering again lol?
The head pick is obviously somebody from SD Worx, so I'm going with the heart: Shirin.
