Hello lovely subscribers and welcome to Women’s Cycling Weekly! 🚴♀️
I’m soooooo tired so pls forgive that I don’t have much to say in this intro this week but obvi the big news is that Zaaf are no more. I could say 1 million things about this but I will leave it up to this very thorough and well-written breakdown of what on earth is going on/went down from Joe Lindsey for Escape Collective.
The Vuelta kicks off next week and I had some thoughts on the race’s stature in this week’s subscriber-only content. Forgetting the politics of all that — and even without ELB — it should be an interesting chance for us to see Demi Vollering and AVV go head to head in a tough stage race.
But right now my only thought is of going to sleep.
Enjoy,
Amy x

Sorry to butt in but that’s two of the best responses to a potential argument I’ve ever seen online. Something so simple but great 👍
Hey Amy,
Thanks for getting back to me. I confess my life has been stressful of late and I was being overly critical. I truly enjoy the links you provide and being able to have a main source for information. I especially like the rider interviews you do. I imagine balance is very difficult and I overlooked the going solo part of your endeavor. I will always support you posts as they are comprehensive and women supporting women’s sports.
best,
joanne
