Sorry to butt in but that’s two of the best responses to a potential argument I’ve ever seen online. Something so simple but great πŸ‘

I was thinking the same. I’m so used to seeing relative strangers shout at each other on the internet that it’s refreshing when it doesn’t happen. Kudos all round πŸ‘πŸΌ

Hey Amy,

Thanks for getting back to me. I confess my life has been stressful of late and I was being overly critical. I truly enjoy the links you provide and being able to have a main source for information. I especially like the rider interviews you do. I imagine balance is very difficult and I overlooked the going solo part of your endeavor. I will always support you posts as they are comprehensive and women supporting women’s sports.

best,

joanne

I am a paid subscriber. Getting a little irritated hearing about level of energy and how personal schedule is so busy. I was a long time subscriber to Freewheeling and I enjoyed it more. I believed

this would be as good if not better especially since i have a paid subscription.

Hey Joanne,

Firstly, thank you for being a paid subscriber.

The personal element of this newsletter is something myself and Tilda have had good feedback about over the years. It gives subscribers some insight into our personalities which, in turn, gives the newsletter a friendly and approachable feel, which is what we aim for.

Looking back through recent issues, this is the first instance of me mentioning being tired for a while, but if I ever do complain of being busy/tired in the intro I rarely cut the 'product' short and make sure that the key elements of both newsletters remain. I am especially conscious of this with the subscriber-only one as I know that people have paid their hard-earned money for access to it.

Additionally, I am now back to manning WCW alone as Tilda has taken a job that doesn't allow her to continue. I brought her on in late 2021 because I was finding it hard to balance this -- a passion project I was doing for free at the time-- alongside the increased amount of paid work I was taking on and other personal commitments. Tilda was a huge help in collating the news, results, articles, and upcoming races sections which are the most time consuming, which then allowed me to concentrate on the 'chatty' bits and the BTS.

Freewheeling was a brilliant podcast (as is Wheel Talk now), I agree, but it also a very distinct project to WCW. I am under no illusion that this newsletter is to everyone's taste but if you are not enjoying it or expected something different I am sorry to hear that.
