What gets Chloe Dygert into trouble is her unapologetic denial of white privilege and the trauma of black people. If she denied the holocaust existed she’d never get a ride but any kind of anti black racism is glossed over and buried - from Moscon, to Simmons to Dygert. I would genuinely be interested in your views as being one of the very few truly independant outlets of women’s cycling media with a record of championing diversity in cycling.
I always think that people should be allowed the room to change and grow and learn from these things, particularly when comments are made at a young age, but from what I can see there has unfortunately been very little in the way of remorse shown from her since.
